About →
Hi, I'm Finney Koshy – a software engineer, product builder, and creative thinker.
My Journey
I'm on a path of continuous growth, evolving from a technical developer into a multifaceted builder who combines engineering precision with product vision. Over the past few years, I've transformed from someone who "barely knew what a server was" to developing full-scale applications and leading client projects.
My approach to building is deeply personal – I create things I want to use myself first. This philosophy has led me to develop several projects including Mogee (a life planning and journaling tool) and Lily (an AI meeting assistant).
What Drives Me
One principle guides everything I do:
- Have fun and learn. I believe the best work happens at the intersection of enjoyment and growth. When I'm genuinely having fun while pushing my boundaries, that's when magic happens.
Professional Life
I currently work with Aloa where I wear multiple hats – from developing internal AI tools to managing client projects and consulting on product strategy. I thrive in environments that let me blend technical capabilities with creative problem-solving.
Beyond Code
When I'm not building digital products, you might find me:
- Exploring new cooking recipes (Korean BBQ is a specialty)
- Sketching manga-inspired art
- Thinking about aesthetics and minimalist design
- Planning my next move (possibly to Austin)
My Philosophy
I believe the best moments come when you're fully engaged in what you're doing—when you're learning, creating, and actually enjoying the process. Success for me isn't measured by conventional achievements, but by whether I'm maintaining this balance of enjoyment and growth.
I'm just trying to build cool shit, learn a ton in the process, and have a lot of fun along the way.
